new characters

I've started working on some new animal characters for children, they're all going to be British animals.

The first is a hare ...

He's still in development, but it's a start ...

He was inspired by a Bill Oddie programme I saw the other evening on BBC2, about animals in the Scottish Highlands.

I love hares - they are the most beautiful, majestic animals which can still appear cute! I always feel really excited when I see one when out walking!

Hi Gail!

I did post a comment recently, but it doesn't seem to have registered ... anyway, I thoroughly approve of your choice of hares, which are such graceful, majestic animals on the one hand, and so sweet on the other!

All the best,

Cathy

Thanks all ... hopefully I'll one day see a hare in the flesh, but so far I haven't, I see loads & loads of rabits though

Lots of hares where we are, especially about now if the suns shining, boxing in the fields and being totally daft, in a lovely way - like your cutey here.

Gretel, maybe I should come up your way for a visit to see the hares ... I've seen so many on TV and pics, but never for real ;(
