Sorry about the lack of posts recently - I've been very busy in my 9to6 and therefore haven't had much time for my "own stuff" ... Also I've had a bit of a cold - that hasn't helped! Feeling a little better now - but still not 100% ..
On Saturday I went to the Plymouth Calligraphers' monthly meeting where we did some marbling on paper (something I've never done before) ... I was amazed with the results ... I must try and get some on here, but I'm not sure how they will come across as some of my favourites were very subtle. I had great fun - it was like being back at school ;)

Hope you get better soon Gail, or as Wallace would put it 'I hope you get the bounce back in your bungy!'
BTW what is your 9-5
Chris ;¬)
Ah - thanks Chris ...
It's worse than a 9to5 - it's a 9to6 (plus 3hrs commute back to Plymouth from Kingsbridge) - I'm a Graphic Designer (web design mostly at the mo') - not too bad, but it does get in the way ;)
I qualified as a Graphic designer but I don't really take naturally to it!
Do you commute by train?
Chris:¬)
No I commute by bus ... Kingsbridge isn't serviced by train :( hence the long journey time ... It can be a lovely journey at this time of year with some lovely scenery and stuff from the top of the double decker - but in winter it's grim ... :(
I suppose you're too knackered after work to do 3 hours of sketching on the bus ;¬)
Chris
Have you ever tried sketching on a bus ... I have and it's not easy, especially on the narrow country roads ;)
Your marbling sounds like great fun - I like doing that sort of thing, too. It always feels as though you've got an awful lot done in a short space of time!
